We received another notification of a rate cut last Thursday. The Fed has confirmed they are cutting the rate by 25bp bringing the Fed rate down to a range of 4.5% - 4.75%. This is most likely the last cut we will be receiving until next year, where we expect another full point cut. People are going to be more curious now that all the chaos is starting to settle and subside. Looking at the trend of the 10yr bonds pointing to a positive change going forward. Similar to the last cut, we will see a delay in when the cut will affect the mortgage rates. With housing prices continuing to rise, timing will be very important in helping you take advantage of some of the good times that are on the way. Now is always the best time to buy, and refinance at a later time if needed.
