Former chief PNP to ex-Sen Trillanes

Brazilian photographer Ricardo Stuckert accidentally discovered a remote tribe after his helicopter was diverted by a storm. The photos were taken in the dense forests of Acre, near the Peru border, an area known for protecting uncontacted indigenous groups.⁠

The images show tribespeople with painted bodies, simple clothing, and traditional weapons. At one point, a man even threw a spear toward the helicopter, showing how isolated and cautious they remain.⁠

Experts say this is likely the same tribe first photographed in 2008, known for moving locations every few years to avoid outside contact. Stuckert told National Geographic he felt like he was witnessing a scene from thousands of years ago, untouched by modern life.⁠
