How often do you service your transmission?
This transmission was unopened for 100k miles. Ford recommends 150k mile service intervals on the 10 speeds.
As for us, we typically say your service intervals should be at about 75k-100k miles on a 10 speed. If you tow regularly, you should cut that down even more.

3.0L Powerstroke. This engine was certainly the biggest misfit engine of the F150 lineup in the past 15 years. While the 3.0L has been somewhat reliable, low sales numbers, higher maintenance costs, and having to deal with strict diesel emissions really doomed this engine from the start.
How do you feel about the 3.0L Powerstroke?
