Red Rum is a Pirate folk band from the home port of Indianapolis, IN. Join our Fan club here on Facebook to keep up with the tour schedule and social posts. Hire us for your event for spontaneous bouts of toe tapping and clapping to Classic folk songs, Pub songs, Pirate songs, traditional sailors tunes and Renaissance music. We play both traditional and original songs along with parodies plus our zany style of nautical comedy.

We'd like to give Ryan Howe, Beth Ann Broadhurst and all the hardworking staff, volunteers, patrons, vendors, YouTubers, podcasters, presenters and our rabid fans a big, hearty THANK YOU for allowing us to entertain you for the 2025 Starbase Indy Convention. This was our first time performing at this Con and we were delighted at how everyone was so welcoming. We'd also like to give a shout to our fellow musicians, the Threepios, and Jen Carlson Midkiff for a space rockin' good time this weekend with us!

A big hearty thank you to Ursula Whyte, the entertainment coordinator, plus the enthusiastic staff and lovely patrons of the Hammond Public Library's Renaissance Faire, for allowing us the opportunity to entertain you again! This special library has some wonderful programs we can't wait to see more of in the future! We enjoyed bringing our musical shenanigans and good cheer to all our new fans! Huzzah!

We had a fantastic day performing at the 50 anniversary Eagle Creek Folk Festival this past weekend. Thank you to the hard-working staff, performers and patrons of the Central Indiana Folk Music Society for allowing us to entertain you with three of our favorite Red Rum tunes. Here's to 50 more years of good tunes, good friendships and good weather at this festival!
