A very elegant, clear, sunny deck. Main desire of a client was to make a deck with zero maintenance in the future: no repainting the deck, any boards, railing - nothing.

There are numerous premium and high quality materials we can use to build a deck. Everything is either plastic, composite or metal, which will allow the deck to stay in the best shape as it was built yesterday for many many years!

This project is interesting because there are two types of roofing: sunroof, so the deck would be very light and retractable one. We've used a commercial grade retractable roof. Normally such roofs are being installed at outdoor cafe's. Will last for a very long time.

The project required getting a building permit. We do everything on client's behalf so you don't have to worry about anything.

My house is a bit over 40 years old. Beside a deck, all its doors to the outside have wooden platforms leading to them. After 40 years, the wood rotted and access to the house became increasingly problematic.

Vlad inspected the existing surfaces and their infrastructure to figure out what could be salvaged and what needed replacing. He learned that the infrastructure as well as the surfaces had deep rot; and that the original builder had not followed code and our joists were parallel to the house rather than perpendicular. Longer joists with a lot of rot were far more dangerous than just a couple of rotted boards.

Cleanconstra demolished all the existing wooden structures, and rebuilt them one by one. They determined that the house had settled unevenly, and worked to have the platforms appear to be level while also following the line of the house. This took some detailed work in handling the railings, but Vlad thought the problem through and solved it beautifully.

The crew working our house was just great. They were professional, highly skilled, precise in their work, and friendly. Vlad ran a tight ship. The crew arrived at 8 every morning and left at 4 every afternoon, with a half hour lunch break from 12 to 12:30. Vlad was there almost daily to ensure that the work was going to plan. He involved me in any aesthetic decisions and some engineering decisions in a professional and useful way.
