National Physique Committee (NPC) Colorado Chairman and MuscleQuest promoter Jeff Taylor interviews first-time bodybuilding competitor Joseph Baena about his debut experience at the 2026 NPC Natural Colorado State. Joseph’s famous father, Arnold Swartzenegger, is the most famous bodybuilder of our time, and it was an honor for Joseph to choose a MuscleQuest event.
Joseph joined many other first-time athletes on stage. Jeff Taylor and all his staff and judges welcome each and every athlete to the NPC, the ONLY pathway to the IFBB Pro League and the only pathway to the Olympia. No other bodybuilding organization leads to the IFBB Pro League, only the NPC.
This was a drug-tested event in which every athlete was tested to be eligible to compete.
Joseph says the 2026 NPC Natural Colorado State was “an unbelievable experience,” and Jeff Taylor did a “fantastic job.”

Bodybuilding fans around the world were excited to see Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son, Joseph Baena, make his NPC competition debut at last weekend’s 2026 NPC Natural Colorado State, promoted by Jeff Taylor .
The National Physique Committee (NPC) is the pathway to the IFBB Pro League, the organization where Arnold Schwarzenegger won seven IFBB Mr. Olympia titles.
Every single athlete in the 2026 NPC Natural Colorado State was drug-tested. Joseph entered multiple bodybuilding and classic physique classes.
“Joseph was professional, friendly, and well-prepared. It was an honor that he chose the NPC Natural Colorado State in Denver for his first time on stage,” says Jeff Taylor, NPC Colorado Chairman and MuscleQuest Promoter.
