The Designing Hope Project.

After some careful thought and review of my life, my future and my finances I have come to the decision that I need to focus on my income bearing company and my health. I am looking at having 3 surgeries this year and 3 more next year that will prevent me from being able to do the work I love. I will still help where I can but I am getting rid of storage. So on that note…I am having a free sale, donations welcome. I am setting up appointments to meet individuals at storage to give what I can. Anything nog taken will be donted to the helping hands project.

Hello to my amazing group of Hope. I recently spoke to a case worker who has informed me the DSHS is actually buying tents for people because they can’t find them homes. This is a terrible thing our state and others are going through. This means more and more families are homeless. This isn’t just a drug addict or lazy person problem. She told me about a woman who lived in her car with her 3 year old until she finally got a home. This is so sad.

I want to challenge everyone to help by donating warm clothes and blankets as well as personal care items, hand warmers etc, to not just The Designing Hope Project, but any group out there trying to help our homeless. I know there are several groups trying to feed the homeless hot meals and provide water and other needs as well.

Even if you take a thermos of coffee and paper cups out to where some of the homeless hang. It will be appreciated. Ladies and gentlemen don’t go alone for your own safety as there are dangerous people out there but most just need help so please help.

If you would rather donate food to one of the groups feeding the homeless reach out privately and I can put you in touch with someone in the everett area.

Hi everyone. Just a little update. I am healing nicely from my hip replacement but waiting for my tryck to finish being repaired after being ran off the road by an inconsiderate young person. Hopefully sometime next week.

I won’t be able to do much for a while yet but hopefully by December 1, I can start helping again.
