Huge congratulations to Dr. Josh Starr, named the next CEO of CASEL (the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning), starting July 1!

We’ve had the privilege of working alongside Josh as our Superintendent in Residence. As a superintendent in both Stamford and Montgomery County, he led at the highest levels of public education, and having that caliber of leadership on our team has been nothing short of a gift. He has truly exhibited The Heart Of RAS.

For more than 30 years, CASEL has been a force for helping schools support the whole child and giving kids what they need to grow into confident, capable people. It’s a mission we believe in to our core, and there’s no one better to carry it forward than Josh.

Josh, congratulations from all of us. We’re proud of you, we’re cheering you on, and we cannot wait to see the impact you’ll make.

And a big congratulations to Dr. Kimberly Schonert-Reichl, stepping in as CASEL’s new Board Chair!
