What does everyone (not just parents) need to know about birth in America today?

Join us for a special evening next week on 6/25 with Portland-based OB-GYN, educator, and author Dr. Jennifer Lincoln for a candid, grounded conversation about pregnancy, labor, delivery, patient advocacy, and what it really looks like to navigate the maternal healthcare system in the U.S. today.

We’ll talk about why she felt called to write The Birth Book, what every person should understand about birth and care in America, how to feel more confident asking questions and advocating for yourself in medical settings, and the often overlooked but essential role of perinatal mental health. We’ll also reflect on who this book is truly for, and how these conversations extend far beyond pregnancy and parenting.

Dr. Lincoln will be in conversation with WellMama's Outreach & Development Manager, Erin Johnson.

We’re also thrilled to welcome her back, as she was one of our keynote speakers at last year’s Perinatal Mental Health Summit and will be returning again this year!
