“The waxing gibbous moon shining in the late afternoon sky.” Why have I always been touched by the moon? Usually I paint full circles, full moons. This one is the moon moving toward fullness. A time to trust your intuition, to embrace your dreams. This painting’s first layer was applied in December, 4 months ago. Since then four more layers have been painted. The original is only visible in tiny fragments - the painting’s history.

Deja Vu 2.5 … a mandala begun 14 years ago and revised 5 times since then - finished just as late April snow falls in the mountains nearing the end of the winter that wasn’t. Just like today’s snowfall, this painting was a long time coming.

Paintings laid out on my studio floor. Prepping for FEATURED ARTIST show that opens May1st … much framing to be done between now and then.
