Professional Alert: Those of you patronizing a certain Waterford PA establishment may have noted a sign at the venue advertizing Recapitulatti for this evening, February 14. That contract was rescinded, via Messenger, BY the HIRING entity on Sunday, February 11th. Recapitulatti did not authorize the sign as posted remaining on the premises beyond February 12th shortly after midnight and we, as an ensemble, were unaware that it had remained as posted until about 30 minutes ago. Additionally, the sign remaining on the wall, with our name subsequently CROSSED OUT, and the words "a fantastic violinist" scrawled across it damages the reputation of the quality of the work we represent. This announcement is being presented for the purpose of professional clarification; our ensemble did NOT break contract with the hire. Recapitulatti is a Local #17 entity, and does not break contract. Your choice to patronize an establishment which treats a professional ensemble in such a manner is yours, alone.
