Just wanting to update all of my customers..Engines are being worked on and have been being worked on. I'm doing my absolute best to get everyone their engines for the season openers. As we all know, some time was needed to do some R&D due to the new rules package for AKRA. And a late final rules announcement on directions to head put me back a little bit this season. Also with going to the new build especially the unrestricted to meet rules and freshenings has taken more time than a general freshening with some needed camshaft and valve train setup changes per engine as well. I am steadily working on them nearly 7 days a week at this point for everyone. Also note at this time I am not taking on any new customers.
Thank you!

***UPDATE***
After talking to AKRA yesterday I am going to try to clarify the restrictor plate jr class questions, the addition of tillotson parts, and CL-4 (NKA) cam all to try and have a common platform between sanctioning bodies. And also due to mandates from track insurance companies as for as the plate classes. Keep in mind you will want to check with your local tracks regarding classes to see how they will approach and structure them. These are solely AKRA rule changes that most have asked about. NOT LOCAL TRACK RULES. but many tracks may follow suit even if not sanctioned by akra/nka/wka.
To start the Jr classes (restricted) have been all dropped down a level due to insurance company request based on injuries from high speeds and lack of driver abilities/experience.
Akra now has a Jr. Amateur class clone age 5-8. using a red plate and a 5200rpm rev limiting coil.
Then a Jr1 red plate 8-10 yrs old no rev limiting coil.
Jr2 is now 10-12 yrs old green plate no rev limiting coil
Jr3 is now 12-15 yrs old purple plate no rev limiting coil.
Blue plate is now box stock amateur non pro age 15-17 using a blue plate. No longer a jr class.
As mentioned tracks may or may not follow this pay attention to track rules. All classes still big pipe.
As far as the clone engines the major changes folks are concerned of:
As far as tillotson parts. It's was the clarification of the tillotson pk-1a carb being acceptable and now allowing the tillotson block part number 138190086. This is the reinforced block. Added due to NKA already allowing this block in their rules package. Akra is now allowing the arc clone billet rod in 3 part numbers .010 under, std., .010 over. (Not mandatory) they are also allowing the CL-4 cam that nka has been using and has removed the max duration check. No min duration.
Akra has also went to open clutch disk or drum for all classes.
Now if you have my latest build with the custom cam, ported head pipe carb combo. The engine will still be competitive with a very minor hp disadvantage not noticeable from the seat as opposed to the cl4 cam and the like. It will be most noticeable on high momentum tracks with low rpm drops. I am in the works of another custom cam to put them 100% in-line. I have yet done the testing but will be soon. As well as testing my current to a shelf cl-4 cam. Had alot on my plate here and wanted full akra clarification. These rule changes have better benefitted NKA engines to be more inline with the akra engine. And less of a hinder to current AKRA engines. My opinion on the block. It's a 97.00 block until I find a better source and until a new block is needed I would not change. Not a huge power adder but a definite durability advantage. Could potentially have some advantage power wise as the block is more rigid therefore could potentially keep cylinder better in line and better ring seal helping power but likely at a minimum. I feel the cam change as well as arc rod and block are more advantageous to the unrestricted classes and blue plate than the jr. plate classes as rpms are much lower than unrestricted and the .550 plate. Hope this helps clarify things for "my" customers.
