I am currently going through all of my USBs that contain thousands of photos. Thousands of photos from every team, every game, every scrimmage, every fun event. So many memories, so many kids that I grew to love and many opportunities I will always be thankful for.
Going through these photos I came across this video. This video brought me to tears. One of my favorite simple videos but a powerful message that I strongly believe in. Things I try and teach my own children but ALL the children I have cross paths with. I have seen so many grow not just into amazing athletes but amazing young men and women. I have seen their struggles and accomplishments. The joy on their face when they get that touchdown or that game winning flag pull. And asking "Miss. Nia did you get that?" That is why I do this. That is why I stand in the hot sun, rain and cold. (What El Paso considers cold) I do this for them. EVERY CHILD. Everyone of them should have THEIR moment. Their moment that I can capture that they can cherish forever. Thank you to all the childern who have allowed me to capture their journeys. Thank you parents for trusting me. And thank you to the teams/organizations who gave me opportunities. I appreciate every single one of you. I wouldn't have gotten here without ANY of you. Now it's my time to make my mark and start my legacy. Who wants to join? 🫶
