Texas Rescue Patrol’s dedicated team is deploying to Kerr County to assist with ongoing rescue operations. We'll be working alongside our fellow Brothers & Sisters with Northwest County Volunteer Fire Department and many other First Responders in that area to provide critical support. Please keep all Rescue Crews and everyone impacted by these events in your prayers.

**Happy 4th of July to Everyone!**
Texas Rescue Patrol (TRP) is currently undergoing a significant transition as we restructure under new leadership following an unfounded lawsuit. The plaintiff in this case has filed an appeal after their claim was dismissed by the court, causing even more delays in our ability to provide essential public safety services to the community. As a result, we are currently limited to offering logistical support to local authorities, until we can resume full operations.
Our primary objective is to restore our complete search and rescue services for both El Paso and Hudspeth Counties in the future. Unfortunately, for the first time in a decade, we will not be present at Red Sands this evening. While we did extend an offer of limited logistical support to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office and County Fire Department, our offer was declined by the El Paso County Attorney's office, which is understandable given our current circumstances. Consequently, our volunteers will have the opportunity to celebrate the 4th of July with their families this year for the first time in a decade.
We want to reassure the public of our full confidence in the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and the El Paso County Fire and EMS agencies to successfully manage tonights event without our assistance. We are aware that they have allocated adequate resources and developed a comprehensive operational plan. Sheriff Ugarte and his command staff have done an excellent job preparing for tonight’s festivities at Red Sands and ensuring your safety.
Looking ahead, our immediate focus will shift to our operations in Hudspeth County. We are eager to re-establish our collaboration with public safety officials in El Paso County, at some point in the future but that will likely take more time due to the appeal process.
We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable 4th of July. Please remember to stay safe and please Dont drink and drive!
Additionally, a roll-off dumpster is available at the front entrance, on Ranchitos Del Este Road for trash disposal, generously provided by TNT Fireworks. We extend our gratitude to them for their support.
