Edmonds Pride needs a few more folks to help with tear down on Saturday, 6/27 from 6pm until we're done (most likely 7pm if we get enough people)! This will be a physical volunteer role involving breaking down tables, helping vendors pack up their booths, and assisting with general clean up! We cannot do this without our amazing community stepping up and helping out ❣

Need plans for tomorrow night? Join Edmonds Pride for a free screening of Flee, an award-winning animated documentary that tells the story of Amin Nawabi as he grapples with a painful secret he has kept hidden for 20 years, one that threatens to derail the life he has built for himself and his soon to be husband. Recounted mostly through animation to director Jonas Poher Rasmussen, he tells for the first time the story of his extraordinary journey as a child refugee from Afghanistan.

Arrive early to enjoy resources offered by local community groups, including Under the Rainbow Edmonds, PFLAG, and Sno Isle Libraries! While the subject of this film is somber, it is a celebration of perseverance, compassion, and empathy. Registration is required, so reserve your spot at the link in our bio or https://www.eventbrite.com/e/popcorn-pride-free-movie-night-tickets-1985402774143?

Another day, another vendor feature! Joseph MaKing will be at Edmonds PrideFest on June 27th from 2-6pm selling beautiful handmade ceramics pieces. Here's a bit about the philosophy behind MaKing Things Factory:

"I have been exploring with clay for about a decade now, but I feel that my “voice” is ever evolving. I don’t want to be boxed in: I am not sure about being a “brand.” I don’t want to be tied to any one thing whether it is a style or “signature” flourish. While I do have pieces I repeat, I want to move freely from idea to idea. I want to remain open to possibilities instead of limitations. I strive to retain the childlike exuberance of working something out and it actually works! That is the joy I want to share with you: that is the example I want to be for the world."

Come show your support for Joseph & our other vendors on June 27th!
