Edgewood ISD continues to market, recruit, and SIGN the very best, and sometimes the best have been Bulldogs all along.

Ms. Sierra Govan has been part of the purple and gold family her entire life. From Pre-Kindergarten through graduation, Edgewood ISD helped shape her journey. Now, after earning her degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and gaining classroom experience, she is returning home as a 2nd Grade Math and Science teacher at Edgewood Elementary.

There is something powerful about seeing a former student choose to come back and invest in the same community that invested in them.

Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog. 🐾💜💛

For 21 years, Ms. Tyndell has faithfully served the students, staff, and families of Bulldog Nation while making a lasting difference through her dedication and commitment to Edgewood ISD.

The Purple and Gold is better because of the years she poured into this district, and Edgewood ISD is incredibly grateful for her service.
