Well it’s official, after redoing the car from front to back since New Jersey, THIS THING IS FAST!! I love this car more and more everytime I get to rebuild it. And I’m glad I got to find out last night, it was great seeing a bunch of friends after being buried in work for the last several weeks getting this car done. So now it’s onto some routine maintenance and then the team and I will be ready for in Bowling Green Kentucky!!

So I’ve always been a firm believer in keeping racecars as simple as possible, the less that can go wrong the better. But one really cool piece is this “Black Box” from . This eliminates the need for a “surge tank and having to worry about extra fuel lines, wiring and additional lift pumps. The idea behind this is the one way fuel doors only allow fuel in but don’t allow fuel to escape, allowing the two fuel pumps to always be submerged in fuel regardless of fuel level and side to side fuel slosh. A simple design that achieves the same task as a complex surge tank at a fraction of the cost. Since the beginning I had always ran a single pump box but moving over to ethanol I stepped up to the dual pump box. SIMPLE 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
