The 2026 PAFL regular season is ending, the Island Boyz will play its final regular season game Saturday July 18 and then a make-up game which was postponed earlier in the season. The Island Boyz returned from Eire, PA with a 26-14 win over the Express. They look to keep the #1 spot as they take on the Broncos this Saturday.

The most anticipated football games of 2026 features two heavyweights PAFL vs PFA showdown like Rumble in the Jungle Ali vs Forman. This massive collision between the Motor City Rams and the Island Boyz should be dandy. Both teams are coming into this matchup undefeated in their league. The Island Boyz this past Saturday knocked off the PAFL CHAMPIONS and Nationally ranked Columbus Fire in their Akron Championship Rematch Classic should be one heck of a battle.

Nine months after falling to Fire in the PAFL Championship game it was sweet revenge as the clock buzzer sealed the victory for the Island Boyz handing the Fire their second lost Saturday night. Islands boyz vs Surge ends abruptly.

A scheduled crossover game between the PAFL and the PFA abruptly ends Saturday cut short after a city official walked on the field and interrupted the game after a kickoff and one play ran by the Boyz early in the first quarter.

A city official from the school district stated Surge did not have a scheduled game at Briggs Parks, after a several minute conversations both teams were told to vacate the premises immediately.

All the entry fee was returned to the fans. The Island Boyz were rewarded a 21-0 forfeit win over the Surges.

On June 6, the Island boyz travels to Akron to take on the PAFL defending champions Columbus Fire.

This game predicted the Island Boyz to be a huge favorite, and the result didn’t play that way, it was an offensive struggle. The Island Boyz struck first but failed the two-point conversion. The Boyz defense would dominate the entire game, shutting the Raiders offense down though they would get a few promising yards but was denied an endzone appearance.

The Raiders would eventually get on the board with a fumble in the end zone making the score 6-6.

The Boyz defense would continue their dominance in the second half clamped down on Raider’s offense. Late in the fourth quarter with seconds remaining, the Boyz would drop the go-ahead touchdown sending them into overtime. The Boyz defense would raise to the occasion once again to deny the Raiders a touchdown. The boyz would secure the overtime victory with a short rushing touchdown in the season opener. The Island Boyz will travel to take on the Grand Rapids Surge of the PFA (Player Football Association) in week two.
