Hi friends 👋

It's been a month. Without going into details, because no one needs other people's drama, so much has happened and some days have been a challenge just to keep my mind straight. One of the biggest challenges was losing all of our freezer meat during the heat and then realizing our refrigerator (DON'T EVER BUY SAMSUNG!) was sitting at a nice 43°. This thing has been nothing but issues, but when the built in thermometer says 37 you think everything is fine. Temp it yourself and find out differently. We've been eating food for God know how's long at the wrong temps. This honestly explains so much! Had the garage freezer never been left open, we wouldn't have figured this out. It cause us to freak out and then check everything. Really expensive. Blessing in disguise. Its no joke when they say God works in mysterious ways. Our new refrigerator comes today 🙏 after a long week of chaos. So very thankful for a tolerant and patient husband. I have been a bit of a thorn 😉

Great news! This BEAUTY went home yesterday. I was actually starting to look for a place in our home for it. Looking at it was really making me fall in love with it. I'm thrilled at how the buyer loved it too and we had a fun chat once realizing we graduated from the same highschool a few years ago part.

The desk gets finishing touches today. I had to fill in the old hardware spots on one drawer and it was being very difficult. However, it looks so good! I've also been working on a small buffet/sideboard and that's turning out well too. I can't wait to share them with you.

Volleyball camp this week has my typical routine completely off. The heat isn't helping. Random tornadoes yesterday that just popped up. Mother Nature sure is frazzled. I hope everyone is safe and damage free.

I'm still working on the hutch here and there. My husband hasn't had a spare minute to repair the drawer but I begged him to get it done today so I can finish this up. It will be totally worth the wait. I spent so much time hand sanding the legs that they are darn near bare and perfect.

A gentleman purchased this yesterday for his granddaughter. How sweet he is! ☺️

Today is a furniture break while I finish up the garden. I'm late getting my things planted since we rebuilt it. Rebuilding is a lot harder but it was failing and now with cedar it isn't going anywhere for a long time. Is your garden in? Please tell me I'm not the only lat one!

I purchased a cute bedroom set last week and guess what.....its fully painted. I guess I really like to eat my words and challenge myself. 🤣
