• Jane Nicolo, of Nicolo Studio, is a multi-faceted artist and creative hybrid who tells visual stories through her unique blend of design services: branding, websites, social media campaigns, retail window displays, exhibits and tradeshow booths, personalized greeting cards, and more.

⚡️Are you ready for this?? ⚡️If you don’t know about Entrepreneur Fair, you should! In 2021, I attended it in its inaugural year. I saw something posted about it on LinkedIn and I wasn’t sure what to expect. When I showed up, I was warmly greeted by Founder Carrie Cook. From that moment on, our friendship, as well as our professional relationship, blossomed. AND if you don’t know Carrie, you should! Not only is she a mover and a shaker, but she is one of the kindest people connectors I have ever met. I have been bestowed with the honor of designing the Entrepreneur Fair campaign for her for the past couple of years. I also have been a vendor since 2022. If you are a small business owner, please join us April 10, at the Eagan Community Center. This project was a slow simmer. And sometimes that is just what it takes to arrive at the proper design solution. Years ago, after the wrap-up of another design project I did for , we started the conversation about a brand refresh–perhaps, changing her font, slightly changing the color(s), or both, would do the trick. Last year, when she was ready to get started, the design process began with my usual assessment. What’s working in the current branding; what isn’t? What should we keep? What are the values that need to be communicated by the brand? Wishes? Objectives for the project? What sets Susan apart, as an interior designer? We came to the conclusion that the project was going to be more than a refresh. Throughout the process, it became evident that we were heading in the direction of a complete rebrand, but the new branding would maintain a nod to her old color palette. Susan’s work is Brilliant, with a capital ‘B’! Her eclectic style, use of a vibrant color palette, and mix of old and new elements are really what set her apart. And her use of stained glass, artisanal elements, and original art in her projects is something I, as an artist, can really get on board with! Her aesthetic is sophisticated and refined. It was a thrill to work with such a creative collaborator!
