Typically, I dye T-shirts for children and adults; baby clothes, including onesies and bubble rompers; dresses and skirts; hats; and silk neckties. The dye tends to collect in the folds, giving the piece a variegated design. After the clothing has been laundered and dried, I typically give it an overdye bath in a second color. This Saturday, March 29, 2025, Terra Clotha will have a scratch and dent sale. There aren’t going to be very many scratches, and it’s really hard to dent soft fabric. So these will be metaphorical scratches and dents. We dye a lot of fabric, and we usually get the result that we’re going for. But sometimes the color is just not right. Often it’s possible to overdye and get an even better color. But occasionally, the color is a dud and nothing will save it. Or we affix the design crookedly. Or the silkscreen dye goes into places that it shouldn’t. Things happen. For adult T-shirts (usually $25), at this sale, we’re asking $10. For kids’ T-shirts (usually $20), at this sale, we’re asking $5. Or make us an offer we can’t refuse. We'll have some hats. totes, and scarves as well. Each one of a kind, all sales final, etc., etc. PLEASE NOTE: This sale does not apply to everything at our booth. We will still have some of our regular stock, and the scratch-and-dent sale will end when we run out of sale items. The early bird get the (metaphorical) worm.
