Tonight the Tri-Beer meet-up group is checking out German Beer N' Brats at Bavarian Brathaus in Cary. I'm looking forward to some pickled herring, a nice German brew and hanging with some cool peeps!
In the process of quick pickling red onions in a brine made with Lonerider's Shot Gun Betty, Rice Vinegar, Fresh Lemon Juice, Sugar, Salt, Cumin, Coriander and Black Peppercorns.
Thanks to Fullsteam Brewery I am the proud owner of a Bomber of Hogwash. Thanks to Lucky 32 in Cary I am the proud owner of a 6.34lb slab of pork belly. Now to make some BACON!!!! Wet cured and smoked baby!
