Student Action with Farmworkers

Evelin Del Angel is a student at ABAC studying History and Government and the daughter of two farmworkers. Her experiences inspired her to pursue law and support her community through mentoring programs like College Assistance Mentoring Program (CAMP).

Her motivation comes from a better future. She wants to help those affected by challenges in her community, especially farmworkers .

Outside work and school, Evelin finds joy in music, sharing knowledge, and helping others succeed.Evelin is shaping the future while lifting others along the way.

Evelin Del Angel es estudiante en ABAC, donde estudia Historia y Gobierno, y es hija de dos trabajadores del campo. Sus experiencias la inspiraron a estudiar Derecho y apoyar a su comunidad a través de programas de mentoría como CAMPOS.

Su motivación viene de un futuro mejor. Quiere ayudar a quienes han enfrentado desafíos en su comunidad, especialmente a los trabajadores del campo.

Fuera del trabajo y la escuela, Evelin encuentra alegría en la música, compartir conocimientos y ayudar a otros a tener éxito. Evelin está construyendo el futuro mientras ayuda a otros a avanzar.

Josue Martin Ventura has worked in the fields for seven seasons. He knows the work is demanding and requires both physical and mental strength, but it also carries purpose.

His motivation comes from his family. His wife, his parents, and his dream of a home of his own guide him every day. He takes life step by step and has achieved much of what he set out to do.

This , we’re shifting the lens. Farmworkers are often defined by their labor, but Josue reminds us they are defined by their dreams. Their worth isn't found in their output; it’s found in their stories, their families, and their hearts.

Josue Martin Ventura ha trabajado en el campo durante siete temporadas. Sabe que el trabajo es exigente y requiere fuerza física y mental, pero también tiene un propósito.

Su motivación viene de su familia. Su esposa, sus padres y el sueño de tener un hogar propio lo guían cada día. Toma la vida paso a paso y ya ha logrado gran parte de lo que se propuso.

Esta , los invitamos a ver más allá del campo. Con frecuencia, el valor de un campesino se asocia únicamente a su trabajo, pero Josué es prueba de que son sus sueños los que realmente los definen. Su valía no reside en su producción, sino en su historia, su familia y su esencia humana.
