Oscar

With telecaster guitar, vintage bass and drums, Oscar’s driving sound swings between raw alt-country, funky acoustic work and americana songwriting. Members of the band have local musical roots dating back to the 1980s, playing at Cat’s Cradle, Local 506, Motorco, Go Studios, Pinhook and Slim’s, among others. The band released multiple albums via Southern Sound Records in 2015, including Matriarchs and Kale Flowers, both collaborative efforts with local musicians.
