Hi friends, we’re aware of the missing kiddo. We have encouraged all involved to ask law enforcement to contact TEXSAR activation line. TEXSAR can only be activated by LE. If drones, K9s and searchers are needed, TEXSAR has the ability to provide and organize everything needed rather than individuals going out with no central command.

Ok Miss Dolly! Dinner is served, your evening accommodations await you! I dragged your parents through a field, we got kicked off a construction site and we did roadside first aid on a snake. And that was only about an hour of my day! ✨🐾

🐾 PSA: Not every lost dog needs a drone flight.

The good news? Most lost dogs are found by neighbors.

The most important first step is often the simplest: GET FLYERS UP in the area as quickly as possible. If someone finds your pup, they need an easy way to find YOU.

Please DON’T PANIC and assume the most expensive option is the right one. Every lost dog is different, and every recovery requires a plan based on that individual dog’s behavior, the circumstances of the escape, and the available information.

A drone can be a great tool when it’s the right tool, but it isn’t the answer for every case. Sometimes the most effective strategies are community awareness, flyers, sightings, cameras, feeding stations, or trapping.

Every dog is different. Every case is different. The best recovery plan is the one that’s tailored to your dog—not the one with the highest price tag.

Milo is home safe! When we didn’t see him on the cameras last night, I suspected he was going between his house and the neighbors, but his people weren’t home. Sure enough, they got home last night and he made his way back there today!

Loaded up and headed to Hunt, TX for this little AWS Freeman-Fritts Animal Shelter & Clinic alumni, Milo. This drive feels eerily familiar one year later. But I love my Kerrville girls and even though it’s 2 hours away, if I can, I will! Have bacon, will travel! 🐾❤️ 🥓
