"Eli has had a great year this year. He worked through something tough each race and powered through to get 13 out of 85 in his last race. He has all A’s and maintains at least a 3.8. He has wonderful friends. He goes to church and has strong convictions. As a mom with a cleft affected child, we often struggle to see how life might be for our kids. Eli has struggles but 99% aren’t from his cleft. He is 13 so still a long way to go in these teen years, but he is handsome, strong, smart, athletic, and has good morals/beliefs. Sometimes I feel like telling those just starting out, that you will make it. These kids are built tough," Megan, Eli's Mom
