Dr. Grandin is spot on with this message. At Progress Center we want children to enjoy their day. We offer Perent Education with every childs Plan that gets approved by insurance so parents can continue skills at home. We encourage insurers to allow coverage for ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) which are sometimes exclusions. We incorporate those into the day in other ways. These are so important. Older children advance to a plan with ABA that teaches career planning, money management, social skills, time management, etc. We also plan our schedules to allow enough hours per week to make a positive impact.
