✨ Member Monday Spotlight: The Learning Center ✨
Today we’re proud to spotlight The Learning Center, a dedicated Chamber member since 2021 and a trusted resource for students and families across the Wiregrass.

The Learning Center has provided comprehensive academic support designed to help students thrive at every level — from elementary school through college. Their team of educators offers individualized, multi‑sensory academic therapy programs that address learning challenges in all subject areas, including early reading, language, math, upper‑level math, and science.
Their services include after‑school tutoring, homeschool support, test proctoring, credit recovery assistance, course credits, and a variety of summer programs. One‑on‑one and group tutoring options are available, and their educators serve as a vital link between students, parents, clinicians, schools, and pediatricians to ensure each learner receives the support they need.
With a strong commitment to customizing instruction for each student, The Learning Center continues to play an important role in strengthening educational success throughout our community.

🗣️ 🗣️ The Learning Center has been approved for The CHOOSE Act.
What is the CHOOSE Act? 🤔 🤔
The Creating Hope and Opportunity for Our Students' Education Act of 2024 (The CHOOSE Act) is administered by the Alabama Department of Revenue (ALDOR).
CHOOSE Act Alabama makes refundable income tax credits called education savings accounts (ESAs) available to support the success of eligible K-12 students in Alabama. 📚 ✏️ 🍎
An ESA can be used to pay for tuition, fees, and other qualified education expenses at approved Education Service Providers (ESPs) in Alabama.
$7,000 per participating student who is enrolled in a participating school.
$2,000 per participating student who is participating in a home education program (maximum of $4,000 per family.)

Are you prepared for the upcoming fall season? We invite you to participate. TLC has established a back-to-school registry. Classes commence on 8/11/2025. Please share and disseminate this information to ensure the 2025-2026 academic year is memorable for you and your child. ✨

What an incredible experience we shared. For our year-end celebration, we took the children skating. As the academic year draws to a close, we are skating into summer. On behalf of The Learning Center, we extend our sincere gratitude to each parent who attended.

At TLC, the children engaged in a game of dodgeball today. Physical education plays a vital role in promoting overall well-being. It is wonderful to see all participants actively engaged. 🫶🏽💕 We are TLC.
