This project was a fun one! All of the nails were falling out with some of the pickets coming out of the posts entirely. Luckily, I could still use everything else and I didn’t have to redo the entire fence! I don’t know about you, but I think the end result for this project was extremely satisfying!

Hello everyone! Welcome to JPB Contracting! I’m really excited to share this journey with you and give you a little background on how it all started.

Before 2019, I didn’t have much experience building or installing anything — I was the guy re-reading IKEA instructions just to get through one piece of furniture! But that all changed when I started installing radon mitigation systems. That job sparked something in me. It taught me how to build thoughtfully, problem-solve creatively, and most importantly, how to work with homeowners to deliver both safety and satisfaction.

It wasn’t easy at first — it took time for me to feel confident in the role — I was basically building complex puzzles through people’s homes, each one entirely unique. Doing the job right mattered more to me than just getting it done fast. I loved the challenge, and I knew I wanted more of it. (See examples in photos 1-4)

That passion carried over into our own home. My wife and I bought a fixer-upper, and with help from some amazing friends, we turned it into a space we’re truly proud of. We painted the entire house, put up new walls, redid most of the electrical and plumbing, and even transformed the backyard. (See photos 5-14)

Now I’m taking the next step with JPB Contracting — offering handyman services with the same care, precision, and dedication that got me hooked in the first place.
