Humans vs Ai - The Corporate Rebrand Dillemma — Anarchy For A Day 03/26/2026

Rebranding is, at the end of the day, something that should be led by humans.

Business may not feel like it at times but humans are still at the helm.

Takes one to know one...maybe that saying holds a bit more weight these days...

Humans vs Ai - The Corporate Rebrand Dillemma — Anarchy For A Day Kyle Merrick and Jon Rottier, of Anarchy For A Day, teamed up to rebrand a manufacturing consultant's corporate identity. The duo delivered a refreshed brand package including the logo, typography, imagery, mission, vision, values and copywriting for the website they designed and launched for CIMPRA

I had a great conversation with Joe Dimino on the Famous Interviews with Joe Dimino podcast.

We talked about the philosophy behind Anarchy For A Day—where anarchy isn’t chaos, it’s tactical differentiation. The whole idea is helping leaders understand the language of marketing so they can stop blending in and start creating real separation in crowded markets.

We also got into my coaching style (blunt, practical, and occasionally funny), the lessons that shaped my approach to business and leadership, and my growing work as an actor and voiceover artist.

If you want to get a sense of how I think about marketing, creativity, and breaking molds intentionally, this conversation is a good place to start.

Give it a listen. 🎙️

The marketer's greatest competition right now is ai. The smart marketer leads with it, the smart client understands that it should be a tool that the smart marketer (smarketer) leverages when they do what they do best: rebrand.

I had the privilege of rebranding RBB Management Consulting to CIMPRAX recently. Thanks to Anarchy For A Day, the client now has a brand that speaks clearly to his exact user base. I brought Jon Rottier in to build out the website along with the brand identity elements that I manufactured.

An exemplary client overall who understood the value in spending money to bring folks to the table to guide the ship through the murkey, often dark waters of the rebranding process.

Be like this client, business owners. See that times are changing. Do something about it.

Anarchy For A Day is the solution for the educated makers and the enlightened individuals. Check out the rebrand below 👇

Why is “ANARCHY” backwards?

Anarchy is a tool to inspire innovation. Reengineer and think about concepts completely differently (that’s anarchy).

In order to allow anarchy to come into the picture and to be effective, one must first be able to objectively hold a mirror up to an idea to understand it completely.

Then, and only then, can we leverage anarchy to break the rules.

The message here is simple: a brand is developed through consistent application.

- The look and feel (on all platforms)

- The conversation (that all your humans and ai are having)

- The feelings and emotions (that your customers get when they think about the quality of product and service your company rendered em')

It all needs to be consistent. With consistency, comes a sturdy reputation which is another word for...you guessed it, brand.

Its unfortunate how many instances I'm hearing and seeing of a tremendous lack of consideration for the consumer. The bar for doing business, at least here in the States, is so low that simply picking up the phone and answering your customer's call is now the base line for what's considered to be "customer service".

And it seems many organizations can't even reach that line. Perhaps because their ai bot is the only agent we can communicate with (if there even is an agent), or maybe they are just too busy to answer. Not sure what but the message here is simple:

People still value a consistent customer experience. The customer experience is what defines your brand. Take care not to bo****ks it up, yeah?
