Update: Blue Sparrow Coffee on Blake Street will be resuming normal hours of operation starting tomorrow.

Last month we completed our quarterly "Sustainability" training with the Blue Sparrow Coffee barista team! Meaning we are on schedule for 2023: Report each year, train each quarter, track impacts each month, and drink coffee each day.

This quarter we took a trip back to the start of our "Sustainability" journey to catch all the new faces up on where we have already been and where we are headed next! This years goals?
Update our vision statement to directly include "Sustainability"
•Work on reducing waste from 5 lb coffee bags and milk containers with suppliers
•Fix our HVAC at Blake Street
•The list goes on and on (and you can read it on our 2022 "Sustainability" Report)

Bittersweet saying goodbye to as today is her last day! Thank you for sharing your amazing energy in our space and pouring gorgeous latte art. You’ve made so many special moments for our regulars and we’re sad to see you go but we know there is so much more in store for you!

Kintsugi (kin-tsoo-gee) is the Japanese art of fixing broken pottery by rejoining the fragments with gold adhesive. This practice emphasizes the fractures showing that something once broken can be more beautiful than it ever was before, giving it a second life.
