Founder & head chef, Nick Mozealous, has possessed a passion for excellent food and great parties ever since the age that his mother would allow him to hold a kitchen knife (or have his ever-growing group of lifelong friends over for a hangout). He was born and raised in Colorado where he spent many years becoming a cooking enthusiast, always impressing friends with his knack for creating delicious traditional and modern dishes, and putting on unforgettable parties with his contagious love for friends, fun, and laughter. In 2010 he took the big leap to turn a lifelong hobby into a career, and ventured to Chicago where he studied cooking under chef Chris Hora (of Food Network's Chef Hunter) and Troy Graves. Here, he learned cutting edge techniques from the pros, became Food Safe Certified, and gained the skills and confidence to transform himself from an enthusiast into a true professional. In 2012, Nick's rich history and deep roots in Colorado brought him back to the Rocky Mountains where he continued to thrive, cooking in high-end kitchens in Vail beside chef Steve Topple, and organizing many successful, large-scale catering events for hundreds of guests at select charity functions. Nick's zeal for excellent food coupled with the professional training that he has received from many acclaimed mentors has led him to 2013 and into his latest business venture and passion.
