I used to think every dry hair day meant I needed more moisture.
The more I paid attention, the more I realized there were other habits contributing to breakage too. That inspired my newest blog post, where I share some of the common mistakes I've learned to avoid and the small changes that have helped my hair over time.
If you've been trying to retain length or get your hair healthier, I hope it helps.

A few people asked if these peptide face tapes are actually working, so I wanted to give an honest update.
I've only been using them for a short time, but I am seeing improvement in a couple of areas. Other areas? Not so much... at least not yet.
That's one reason I like sharing real experiences instead of perfect results. Sometimes a product works great. Sometimes it works in some areas and not others. And sometimes you need more time before you know for sure.
If you see me talking about a product, it's because I've actually used it and felt it was worth sharing. That doesn't mean it will work the same way for everyone, but I can always share what I'm seeing and experiencing myself.
For me, this is what's working so far.
Have you ever had a skincare product surprise you by working better in one area than another?
A few days ago, I shared how dry my hair had been feeling and how often I was having to refresh it.
After switching to a thicker leave-in conditioner and adding a protein treatment back into my routine, I started noticing a difference. My hair feels more balanced, holds moisture longer, and I haven't felt the need to constantly reach for my spray bottle.
It was a good reminder that healthy natural hair isn't always about adding more moisture. Sometimes it's about finding the right balance between moisture and strength.
I wrote more about what I learned in my newest blog post.

Something about the shape, the texture, and the effortless summer vibe of this one had me immediately adding it to my wishlist.
