Although the specific reference of the presentation was my work with a local Denver art non-profit, it does represent a larger exercise in making sense of the paradox between universals and indivdual expression, globalization and local rootedness, movement and a sense of place. I relish the idea of contradictions, and my goal on every project, whatever the scale or complexity, is to use them as triggers for design inventions".
