Our mission is to develop community leadership through programs that focus on a critical imagination and systems change. Our programs provide emerging leaders with the tools and community to tackle this generation’s greatest challenges. Over the past 25 years Orbis Institute’s programs have impacted over 5,000 young leaders from 35 countries around the world.

Elise, Orbis Fellow, is passionate about food security and served on the SFD Associate Board the last several years. Supporting this collaboration was a very full circle moment for her🥬
Slow Food Denver is a chapter of a global, grassroots movement that links the pleasures of growing, cooking, and eating food with the community and environment. SFD is committed to the enjoyment of local food by all members of the community, seeking to create a more just and sustainable food system.
