That’s hot enough to burn fast. Blacktop, sidewalks and parking lots are the worst from midday through late afternoon. 🐾

Walk early, wait until sunset, or stick to grass and shade.

Quick test: hold the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds. Too hot for you means too hot for them.
