π± More schools. Less jails.
πΏ More plant cells than jail cells.
π₯ More salads than pharmaceuticals.
π± More propagation than incarceration.
Let's farm Rikers Island and imagine it as a place that grows fresh food, creates jobs, and builds opportunity for New Yorkers.
The answer to poverty and food insecurity isn't charityβit's education, jobs, income, and community development.
Together, we can grow healthier people, healthier communities, and a brighter future.
ππ±π₯
Thank you to everyone working across education, public safety, agriculture, and government who believes in the power of growing food, growing minds, and growing opportunity.

A standing ovation in Singapore. πΈπ¬π
I was humbled by the opportunity to keynote WRLDCTY and share the Green Bronx Machine story with leaders, educators, innovators, and changemakers from around the world.
What resonated most throughout the conference was a simple truth: no matter where we live, we all want healthier communities, better opportunities for our children, and a brighter future for the next generation.
I was also honored to sit down with Rani Samtani and CNA for a national television interview and discuss the transformative power of education, food, health, and community.
My sincere thanks to Chris Fair, Andrea Curtis, Jasmine Palardy, and the entire WRLDCTY family for your hospitality, friendship, and commitment to building more livable, lovable, and sustainable cities.
From the Bronx to Singapore, and beyond, we all share one planet.
There is no Planet B. ππ±
As always, it all starts with a seed.

Greetings from Singapore! πΈπ¬π
Honored to have been named a WRLDCTY Fellow and grateful to be joining leaders from around the world in conversations about building healthier, more sustainable, and more resilient cities.
Proud to be sharing the work of Green Bronx Machine , New York City Public Schools , the New York State Education Department, and Principal Roxanne Ledda as examples of what's possible when education, health, wellness, and community come together.
From the Bronx to the world, we're proving that small ideas can grow into big impactβand that it all starts with a seed. π±π
Can't stop. Won't stop. Si Se Puede! π€ π
