Tremendous thank you to each and every one of y’all who listened to my music. I’m honored that any of these tunes accompanied you during life’s simple moments - like running an errand, or taking a walk out in nature. For those of you who danced with me at shows this year - thank you for bringing your energy and creating something live that’s greater than the sum of its parts.

What a privilege it is when the sky dances for us. 🌌

Isn’t it wonderful when we see something in nature that teleports us back in time? While staring at the gradient of purples and blues in the sky during the aurora borealis, I thought back to a chat from 2022 with my Uncle Peter - one of the smartest and curious people I know.

He told me about Special Relativity - and how the theory diverged from General Relativity in physics. Before this chat, I never knew that such a paradigm even existed. After the family vacation, I meditated on this concept and started a track inspired by floating in space, much like the interplanetary scenes from the N7 crew in Mass Effect flying through the stars.

You might remember the original mix of Special Relativity released with dream right around this time back in 2023. Years later, I couldn’t help but revisit the old project file right when I was learning the fundamentals of production. There was something about the free nature of the arrangement, the pluck harmonies, and the emotive strings that kept me listening to the private demo on my SoundCloud again and again.

So, I created a VIP edit applying a fresh coat of paint to the essentials from the project that I could play in live sets. After reaching for it again and again, I was thrilled that heard that same magic from those early ideas. A big thank you to his careful attention to detail in his master for the Drifting Through Space edit.
