The Spacesium team behind the Scout3D platform has released a new software tool to monitor, measure and managing haul roads for performance and safety. 🦺

🕐We understand how road design is developed, to the functional maintenance and how these can interplay with design, operation and optimal performance.

Our inhouse software developers solved this problem. We have released Road Safety Compliance Tool (RSCT) to:

✅ Auto-Detect Bund Wall Heights
✅ Auto-Detect Land Widths
✅ Auto-Detect Road Grades
✅ Auto-Detect Lane Crossfall
✅ Auto-Detect Intersection Water Pooling
✅ Auto-Detect Lane Drainage

By leveraging your current 3D point clouds and design files, you can run the RSCT tool over your site and automate your road reports. 📑

We have released version 1.8.5.30 of Spacesium Scout 3D 🍰

In this release we have revisited and simplified many of the core features of our product (something we will continue to do on our future releases). Keep the feedback coming!

💿💾 Change Detection Analysis - Compare changes in point clouds between two point clouds (either LiDAR, Photogrammetry and/or Designs)

✉ Labelling Annotations - More dynamic labels that interact with the map. Improved display of points, lines and text.

🌏Contour Import - Allows for importing and sharing of 3D contours from other software packages - CAD DXF and zipped ESRI shape files

Also more fixes 🐞added to the list!
✅Clip function refinement - fix for the clipping tool
✅Home location fix - home function works with default map
✅Demo project bars - all bars are working on the demo projects
✅Left panel fix - All panels on the left can now be stretched out
✅Point file fix - Can now import ESRI shapefiles as points
✅Share file fix - can view external projects without signup
✅Added EPSG fix - files for design files can be used with EPSG codes
✅Saving Map Style - base map will be saved automatically
