Going to the courthouse and wearing a mask was not what we had Intended for our wedding day,⠀
⠀
But I’m not really into having a house celebration either 🤷🏻‍♀️⠀
⠀
Maybe I’m stubborn, or have high standards (although truthfully it’s both) 😅 but we’ve decided waiting to share a last name and buy a house doesn’t need to wait.⠀
⠀
We will elope to the beautiful mountains here in our home state and enjoy a few kid free days relaxing in the most beautiful natural hot springs here. 🏔⠀

Although planning something alternative to the beautiful wedding we were going to have still hurts, I’m so thankful for the friends and family surrounding us with love 🥺❤️ and all the support from complete strangers here 🖤⠀

This has been a hard year for a lot of people. I don’t share this stuff for people to feel sorry, but to show you that I am a human just like you, going through life. I have so many other things that I don’t share on my social media and rarely talk about to people outside of my family circle. ⠀

The fact that so much of our lives and what we can do is determined by COVID sucks. But we can only have control over our own choices. Life often gives us lots of options- it’s rare that we like the choices. We just have to choose to be thankful and move past it. I think it’s fair to say most of us have experienced death, loss, and what feels like 1 step forward 10 steps back, but continue to be kind to others and share what you can in times of abundance 🤍

I’m just going to share a few of my wants and hopes...⠀
⠀
I want to have more hairless cats, and work when I want—/doing what I love, whether it’s coaching, teaching cosmetology, or being a yoga teacher. ⠀

I want a house that we can design. One level, 5 bedrooms and two baths. Not a huge house, just big enough- with lots of smart storage 🤤 (you know you are getting old when organizing excited you 🤣) and a yard with a tree house ⠀

I want a newer Toyota 4 runner (having a an awesome snow vehicle is non- negotiable for me here in Colorado). I just want the ability to provide safety and comfort in our daily home lives. ⠀

Those are just the material things I can buy with success and money but I also want to be able to be okay with out them. I want to know how to live joyfully and freely without material things. How to work hard and focus on the people and things close to me 🤍⠀

I dream of moving through this life freely, with just enough love and attachment to what’s important.⠀
