History was made at Churchill Downs and I’m still obsessed. Golden Tempo really did that, but let’s talk about the real ICON: Cherie DeVaux. The first woman to win the Derby? Absolute goals.

But the party isn’t over! The next race in the Triple Crown is heading to my home state, Maryland,this weekend for the Preakness Stakes. Although not held at Pimlico this year, that Baltimore energy will still be alive in Laurel. I’m rooting for every single horse to have a safe, fast, and legendary run, but I'll be on the lookout for Golden Tempo. 🦀🏙️
