The Global Tree Initiative is a project of the Universal Clear Light (UCL), a registered non-profit organization - public charity status: 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). UCL has permission to receive tax-deductible bequests, devices, transfer of gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2566. United States of America taxpayers may be able to claim a tax deduction to the extent permitted by law.

“Clean energy” basically refers to energy that does not harm the environment and does not damage our health. Examples of clean energy are solar, wind, water (hydropower), and geothermal energy. Cutting trees for firewood or making coal (charcoal) is not clean energy, even though many people use it every day.
