FDA approved Zepbound (tirzepatide ) for weight loss ! This is the same medication as Mounjaro which is used for diabetes but now has new indication for weight loss !
Same as ozempic (Semaglutide) is for diabetes and Wegovy for weight loss !

Now the question will be when the pharmacies will get it in and if insurance will cover !!! Hopefully will be in pharmacies in “upcoming weeks” they report !!!

Tirzepatide/Mounjaro is much better tolerated than Semaglutide mainly related to the side effect profile with GI upset ! So this will be great for patients!
