When your body feels stuck on high alert, your breath can become an anchor. ⚓
Place one hand on your chest and one hand on your belly.
Slowly inhale through your nose. Feel the hand on your belly rise while the hand on your chest stays mostly still. Exhale slowly and feel your body soften.
This gentle practice signals safety to your nervous system and invites your body to slow down.
The present moment is the only moment.
Let the breath bring you back to it.
Sometimes one intentional breath is enough.
