Delve into Space

Today I was driving through a thrift store parking lot and saw this excellent piece of work. As you can see, this is a free public-use cell phone charger, courtesy of the power originally run to this parking lot light. The really nice touch here is the power strip which keeps everything 100% safe. Unfortunately rain has rolled into town tonight and I'm not sure what all of this is looking like at the current moment.

Question? Service call today. Electric convection oven. 1 ph 240v 7.5kw. Customer called last night breaker tripped, she reset wouldn’t reset. I told her I’d be by this morning to look at oven. I reset breaker it stayed on just have been warm last night. Unit is 7500 watt and it’s pulling 31-32 amps. Oven is ok. The breaker is a 30 amp it’s been working forever but now it’s bad. They should have installed a 40 and it’s #8 to the unit 👍🏻 I was just going to install 40 amp breaker. Whoever installed the breaker used a 3 pole 30 instead of a 2 pole 40. Assuming that’s what was there or they had but been working for forever. Question is do I need to worry about the high leg on this? Whoever hooked it up stayed away from the high leg and landed his wires on the outside connections on breaker away from the high leg. Is that why he installed a 3 pole? I was just going to install a 2 pole 40 amp breaker. Been a while do I thought I’d ask. Thanks
