Hi friends!

Below is a link to a video from our partner in Tanzania, where 200pcs of our totally off grid LED solar street lighting system were recently installed.

This is an area of Tanzania that NEVER had ANY previous lighting. There are no electrical wires at all connected to these lights, they are totally off the grid. Operating completely autonomously, powered only by the sun!

RemPhos supplied the entire system including:
-LED street light
-Solar panel
-Battery and battery mounting underground (to keep batteries cool in hot Africa sun)
-Custom designed controller to maximize the illumination during peak hours
-25ft tall galvanized steel poles custom built with desired mounting

We pre-assembled these kits before they left our factory and were shipped in 40ft containers directly to Tanzania.

This is a test for even larger projects in Africa!

This is a success, because not only did we design and supply a great product, at a reasonable cost, but we are also making a real difference for the amazing people living in these rural areas, that have literally never had any street lighting before. It brings tears to my eyes!

Once you watch the video, It will be apparent that it is a life changing event for people around this 4 KM stretch. New businesses are opening up along this road side already. The community around the 4 KM stretch road in the Mtwara region is ecstatic to have these street lights.

RemPhos should be proud of the progress we have made together in Africa. We both know that this is just a start for us do better and bigger projects in the near future.
