Some people show up once. Others keep showing up β again and again.
Retired Sgt. Scott Winstead has faithfully come to our Journey sessions time after time, pouring into our group and sharing pieces of his story. His honesty, wisdom, and willingness to be real about lifeβs challenges makes a lasting impact on every student in the room. Thank you Scott!
And thank you Toby for swinging by and checking in and sharing some advice with in our group.
Mentors--- we missed you!! Enjoy Spring Break!

Today our group had an eye-opening experience thanks to TWRA Officer Justin Pinkston and THP Trooper Toby Cameron.
They led participants through a drunk goggles obstacle course, demonstrated field sobriety tests, and had an honest discussion about the very real dangers of driving a vehicle or operating a boat under the influence.
Officer Pinkston and Trooper Cameron spoke candidly about the impact alcohol and drug abuse has on our community and encouraged our students to always reach out to someone before making a decision that could change lives forever.
We are so grateful for these officers taking the time to invest in our group and share their knowledge and experience. π
