Get Your Rear in Gear events are held across the country in an effort to raise the awareness of the importance for colon cancer screenings. The money raised at these events empower local community leaders to promote prevention and early detection of the disease and to provide support to those affected.

Meet Becky Pruitt, a cancer survivor and the Local Event Director for Get Your Rear in Gear - Fort Worth.
“I want to make sure other survivors know they aren’t alone, and help people get treated early,” shares Becky. “Colorectal cancer is extremely treatable if caught early.”
“It can be terrifying to talk to a doctor about symptoms and go through testing. So many people have a tendency to put screening off. However, it’s completely worth it if you can be easily diagnosed and treated . . . early detection and treatment is crucial.”
Join Becky and the colon cancer community in Fort Worth on Saturday, March 7th, at Trinity Park as we come together to spread colon cancer awareness, support our patients/survivors, remember those that we’ve lost, and raise funds to screen the local community
