Imagine our surprise when at the Hot Pepper Festival in Palestine this past weekend we have a customer walk up and call out my name! Of course we were confused but after some conversation we found out that the word had traveled from the DFW out to east Texas and they were told that they just had to stop by and try our leMMonade. 🤗🤗🤗 Instantly humbled especially since so many things were stacked against us the morning of.

1) The weather, it was forecast to rain all day. Not great for an outdoor market setup.

2) We arrived at checking only to find that they forgotten to place us. Kinda need a spot to setup and sell and this delayed our setup by an hour and a half.

3) We did not have the correct information about permits. Thankfully we setup to permit standards anyways so we passed that inspection.

4) Lower than expected crowd level. 😳😳😳

Watching the Lord work everything out before our eyes is something we will never stop talking about. The Hot Pepper Festival was a hit for us, only second to one other event in sales. Thank you Palestine for welcoming us in and showing us so much love. Also, thank you guys for spreading the word. It is invaluable to us.

The past week has been full of preparation for the Grapeland, TX Peanut Festival. Inventory, shopping, organizing, packing, loading, hotel mishaps and everything that was necessary to travel over 100 to setup and serve.

So much goes into planning for local events so we knew this one was going to take more. With all of our planning we still vastly underestimated what was to come. Ice, water, and sugar all had to be restocked multiple times because you guys just kept showing up to taste the difference. I mean hundreds and hundreds of you. At one point we looked up to see that what we thought was a line for another vendor outside of the pavilion was actually you all extended out and wrapped around. My gosh 🤯🤯🤯

Thank you for coming out and thank you for your patience! We are speechless.

Lastly, thank you to our family for coming all the way to Grapeland to help our little family this weekend. We could not have done it without you.

Grapeland, we’ll see y’all at next year’s Peanut Festival!!
