Winter is an excellent time to focus on mistletoe removal.

Mistletoe roots into branches, draining nutrients, blocking water conducting vessels (swelling) and decreasing health & vigor. This opportunistic parasite spreads via birds and rodents.

While still healthy, this tree actually posed a high risk to people and property. The Red Oak lost the companion trunk years ago creating a decayed cavity, and the homeowner made the tough call to have us remove it.
